Look up the word "discription" in the dictionary it means to "discribe" Like if I had a 12 lb Yorkie I would discribe it as a "GIANT" Yorkie. If you don't like my site then don't go to it. Hopefully you'll have a better day tomarrow.

All my dogs are 4lbs....I got slated for breeding my 4lb female to my 4lb male, despite many pm's supporting me saying she would be fine. She is wide, and sturdy, and he is skinny and long-legged. Unfortunately she didn't take, and as I only found out on day 62, she is now larger than I think she should be....approaching 6lbs......due to the extra feeding ! I will give her more excercise for a while, but I have been told by my vet to try her again.
As long as your dog is healthy, I don't see it as a problem at 4lbs myself. Problems in whelping can happen in any dog, and there is such a thing as a vet to intervene and advise.
The dog originated in Scotland and was perfected as a tiny for the coal-mines of Yorkshire in England to catch rats.....they wanted the smallest to get into the crevices. If you were over here, you would see many small lines, and healthy litters too.....they are just small, not sold as a fashion item or for vast amounts more money - they are just our Yorkshire Terriers, and we love them all.

Look..You say you breed tinies on your front page, if one were to go to your girls pages then the weights are right there.
If I were to DESCRIBE something as a "tiny teacup" and the weight is 3 3/4 lbs and the next dog is a MICRO MINI I would assume that the "TINY TEACUP" is bigger than the "MICRO MINI".. heck you made up a whole new name for !!

I had a fine day today thank you, and tomorrow I will be able to get up and look myself in the mirror because my 3 and a half lb yorkie is a spayed pampered princess not a workhorse.

Oh and Highland Yorkies..if the dog had a retained puppy for 9 days what do you think the chances of them seeing a vet is?

I am not a novice to the term teacup.... It is a term breeders use as a ploy to sell pups!
No! Lady Katheryn is my smallest breeding female. I have not Breed Gabriella & no, I use it to descibe Size. Anyway, what ever happened to the original Thread question? Or did everyone here just wake up on the wrong side of the bed today?

Okay, I love this site, but I'll admit I hate seeing this arguing with someone who has a valid question. The question was good, I feel I learned something from it, and until we walk a mile in someone else's shoes perhaps judging isn't a good idea. If you have a question regarding someone's breeding practices could the questions be put in a polite and respectful way. Is that really too much to ask?

I've always been taught to treat others the way I wish to be treated. You can disagree respectfully, but honestly, is any one of us perfect to pass judgement on another? I truly don't think so; I know I'm not. I might disagree, but I try not to bash anyone.

For example, I accidently insulted and was disrespectful to someone on this forum the other day, and guess what, I apologized and made friends with that very nice lady. Imagine that?

Thank you Debra, It's nice to know that someone around hear knows something about Yorkie History. And your right! A HEALTHY 4 lb Yorkie is alot better than a SICK OVER BREED 10 lb one.

Yes, and I love the discription "Micro Mini" to descibe size. I think it's cute!

Oh really???? I could have sworn you had Contessa Gabriella listed to be bred with Master Nikolas this August! Unless you plan on her gaining at the very least a pound between now and then, you are breeding that size!

Who then is going to speak up for these little dogs? I was always taught to defend those that cannot defend themselves.

I haven't breed her yet so she can't be considered a breeding female yet. But if/when I deside to then she will also be a breeding female

First off what a Miracle that is, You was so lucky that the little one was not delivered on the same day as the others, Because it would of been born to early and prob would not of lived. how it stayed in 9 more days is a Miracle in its self. Congrats.
The pictures of them are just way to sweet.
Im sorry you came here for help and ended up with all this rude posting that had nothing to do with your question. it gets me when I see people posting such mean stuff about someone with the tinys when they set with a tiny on their lap as they type. It does not bother me one way or the other what people want to call their tinys, Tcups, micro. it all means the same, small. The only thing I hate hearing is when a female is being breed over and over. not saying that anyones doing that, but thats gets me not the t-cup names....and it had nothing to do with your question, so im sorry you had to go through that. Congrats on your babys.
