| ...............ME TOO ! Took Tammy for her scan today at day 60/62 - no puppies, boohoo. The vet says to try her next season She was 4lbs but is now nearly 6lbs in weight - will need loads of walking now to get that extra feeding off her ! And yes, you are right, it's the waiting that has been the worst - all that preparation for nothing, boohoo Vet says she's in fab condition though and these things happen - she will probably take next time. Debra x x x x 1. The "not to be parents..... yet !" 2. Tammy |

| Oh man that sucks. I know I was frustrated when Ollie went past her due date, but at least they were worth waiting for. Someone else just had a false also. That has to be such a disappointment. But what you gonna do!!! I wish all of you luck next time. |

Tell your friend I know just how she feels ! Poor her - you get soooo excited after two months of waiting, and then you panic, and then you spend the money to go to the vet for a scan/x-ray, only to be told she has no puppies in there ! Poor Tammy is all offended with a red sore shaved belly now - the Vet shaved her - I have just bathed it with surgical spirits, poor dog......I will no doubt be all excited in a few months all over again, if I can bear to put myself and Tammy and poor Casper's manhood through all that again, lol Thanks anyway for the kind words......tell your pal to go for it again next time - if she does, I will (I don't know about her, but I have spent a fortune on bedding, whelping area, special food, and then the Vet....oh and a good book - so it will all go to waste unless I do it again sometime ! Fridge is full of food that will now go off though ) Was looking forward to a puppy after 7 years, too ! Best wishes, Debra x x x x | |

| I'm so sorry for your disappointment. Canines do reabsorb their young sometimes so maybe they were pregnant and these just weren't meant to be. Hopefully you'll have a blessing next time.

| Being a breeder is not easy, especially when you care so much. I have a littlle girl who is having trouble breathing sometimes. I don't get much sleep cause I listen for her all the time. She's growing like a weed and will hopefully outgrow the congestion. Meanwhile I'm on the lookout for signs of pneumonia and doing alot of praying. I must admit that breeding does make me happier than anything else I've ever done. Don't give up, you'll get your turn.
