| a yorkie-widower after a year i am ready to find another furry friend- a yorkie- i bought my teenie from missouri which was a puppy mill, she was awesome very tiny- 2 pounds- never wagged her tail or licked me but oh how i loved her and ache - i am disabled with bone disease and i would love to find a small female- only two pounds(only because that is all i can have on my legs for weight) im not looking to breed-im just very lonely and very afraid of another episode of puppy mills. How can one know for sure-- are there any reputable breeders in wisconsin?? again does anyone have adult little ones that they are retiring??? I appreciate your website as i am just now able to look at yorkies and smile- thanks -Taybri |

| What breeder did you get your puppy from in MO? Not all breeders in MO are puppy mills! I'm so sorry that you had a bad experience!

| thanks thank you for answering me- i am very sorry if i gave the impression of all missouri breeders being in the wrong- i know thats not the case, im just speaking from my experience of loving and losing a lil one-and being told afterwards even from my vets that the state has a large quantity of mills. My beloved teenie beanie never wagged her tail or even licked me in all her 3 years but we loved with our eyes and she lived in my lap and heart. Now my heart aches for another, but i truthfully am soo scared. I am especially afraid because with my disease i can not handle much weight on my legs or lap so i am looking for a really small weight -not over 2 pounds. I saw your website and they are beautiful indeed. Much blessings to you. |

| I am truly sorry for the loss of your little one. Good luck in finding the next perfect friend, but I am afraid you will have trouble finding one that small. Chances are, if you do find one that size, you will be setting yourself up for heartache again because of the health risks associated with such small dogs. |

Rather than get a pup and reward a breeder for breeding potentially unhealthy tinies, how about contacting a rescue organization and see if there's a tiny Yorkie or Chi that needs rescuing. One that comes to mind is http://www.unitedyorkierescue.org/, but a local rescue might have a loving tiny for you. And adopting an adult will ensure the size and give you a health history. Good luck.
