| Registration Questions We are planning on studding my male, Bentley, who is ACA registered.....I have a friend who has a Yorkie Female that is AKC registered. We are thinking of breeding them and I was wondering if you were allowed to breed outside your registration, and if you are how would the puppies be registered? Any information would be greatly appreciated. -Brett

| Hi, AKC does not recognize ACA.So you would have to register it through ACA.AKC is more strict on their rules and regulations.

| We had this very same thing come up with our female Maltese. ACA is the only registry that will accept the puppies for paperwork. It's very easy and you only need a copy of the one parents AKC cert. to send off to ACA and they will register all the pups for you. You can visit ACAvet.com or call them at 800-651-8332.
