Have you seen strong contractions? Stage 1. Uterine contractions, dilation of cervix, absominal discomfort, panting: may last 3 to 6 hours. The dam may refuse to eat and may have loose stools or a water bag may appear.

| No strong contractions yet. She seems to be able rest a little at a time, but she's up and down alot.. So she's probably just in stage 1?? We might be able to expect babies by tonite??

| Sounds like she's getting ready. Mine would get up and walk and dig, with each contraction. And rest in between. You can feel the belly harden up, then once it subsides, it softens. |

| That's exactly what she is doing. It's not continuous panting either it's like she pants for about 5 or 6 minutes real hard then quits and gets up and walks around for about 10 minutes thenback to panting and digging.. I'm thinking we're on our way...
