| Newbie wanting breeder help! Hi everyone! The breeder I'm looking at now is "Glosrun" yorkies. I was wondering if anyone had any experience? She is around Pittsburgh and sounds like she's good. She doesn't breed until after 2 years, has a one year health guarantee, and doesn't breed too often. I am in PA but I am willing to drive just about anywhere (the puppy I'm getting in May (non-yorkie) is located in Wisconsin and I'm driving 14 hours to pick the little dude up!). Of course, I'd prefer the breeder to be close, if s/he is the perfect breeder for me. This is what I want out of a breeder: 1) healthy dogs of course 2) good health guarantee 3) health testing if possible 4) longevity of the dogs 5) personal relationship--longterm--with the breeder. I want a friend and mentor as well, someone who will help me if I need some advice and stand by his or her dogs 6) A tiny baby, a female, around 3-5 lbs fullgrown 7) good puppy contract I may be missing some...it is pretty late here lol! These aren't in any order though. If someone has a breeder recommendation for me, I'd very much appreciate any help. I'll be browsing this breeder section as well. Thanks everyone! |

| www.sylvanyorkies.com She is a breeder here on YT that comes highly recommended! I'm not sure about glosrun... If the puppy has a life threatening congenital or hereditary defect it will be replaced with the first available puppy of the same value from the seller, as soon as possible. The original puppy must be returned (at the buyer's expense) before a new puppy can be delivered. No one may keep the original puppy, it must be returned. The buyer is responsible for any shipping fees for the replacement puppy. That came from their agreement policy, and I don't like the fact that if they give you a puppy that has a congenital defect you have to give it back and they replace the puppy. That does not sound fair to me at all. Within days of having a new pup, it becomes a part of the family, and you're supposed to give it back?? Sounds more like you're being punished for getting a sick dog from them. Just my thoughts on it.
