| How to tell if week old baby sick? HELP!!! Hey there, last week my Monroe had three beautiful baby boys, I am however wondering if the smallest is getting ill. For the breeders out there are there signs I should be looking for? I just want to know if I can wait till morning to take him into the ER or if he needs to be seen tonight? He seems more shaky than the others and his nose gets droplets of moisture on it even after I wipe it off. Please help... Marlee

| Lightly pinch the skin at the back of his neck...does it stay sticking up or does it quickly go back into place? If it stays sticking up that means he is dehydrated. If so, I would take him to the ER vet. They can put fluids under his skin and get ready to start feeding him every few hours. Good luck with the fellow and I hope all is fine!

| all is well he was a little bit low on fluids, but time alone with mom and big brothers out of the way really seemed to help a lot. Today he is thriving and holding his own to the other boys.
