| I have 2 questions for the breeders my little girl has had two litters. she got her figure back with the first litter and looked awesome. now will she get her figure back w this litter? and if so, at what point do they loose their figure. 2nd question... my little coco's vulva is tiny. about the size of a peanut. i have never seen one so small. she is 6 months and close to 5lbs. will it get bigger? it just looks too small for her to have puppies. i know these are odd questions but i have never seen it discussed before and would like to know a little more about this. thanks so much lisa

Suggestions to help her get back to shape: Proper diet, exercise and most important is stimulation to the uterus. Swimming: Dogs recovering from: orthopedic surgery, spinal injuries, hip and elbow Dysphasia, ligament strain and sprains, spaying, Caesarian section and many other ailments, as well as after whelping to tighten the muscles back up - all find swimming to be a gentle way to rebuild their fitness. You can fill your bathtub up and have her swim starting at 3 min then gradually moving it up depending on their situation. Quote:

Your concern is not with the vulva....the size will increase after her 1st Season. What you are concerned with is the room between her pelvic area (you should be able to fit 2 fingers between the pelvic bones) and the distance between her anus and vulva (3 fingers), if you can do this, pretty good sign she'll be a free whelper.

Next measurement, index finger, middle finger and ring finger placed on the bottom part of the anus to the top of the vulva....they should fit comfortably
