| Puppies Coming Now! One little boy was born an hour and a half ago...6.5oz. Shouldn't another one be coming by now? How will I know she's done? |

| Oh how exciting! First ones a big one! They can be up to 2 hrs. apart as long as the contractions are still coming you should be in good shape. How big is mom? Do you have Nutri-cal if she needs an energy boost?

| OMG! how exciting! And nerve wracking at the same time! I can't help with your question...sorry. Someone here should reply soon I'm sure - I think the time can vary greatly but I also think you have to be careful that she is not in distress for too too long?? Good luck and keep us posted!

| She's definitely not in distress. She actually seems pretty comfortable to be honest. She's napping again now. Every once in a while her stomach really hardens and her back legs get stiff again...contractions? And she starts panting really heavily again. I had a whelping box and then another basket to put the babies in as they were born, but she didn't want to be away from the first one so she hopped in with him. They're both doing fine...I'm just ready for another one to be here! Paisley weighs about 6.5 pounds (when not pregnant, of course). |

| Sounds like she's got another one. Those are the contractions, you can time them, like us women do. If she has another puppy, the contractions need to get stronger and more frequent of course. If they don't, she'll need oxy from the vet to strengthen contractions. Sounds like she's doing wonderful. |

| Wow, 6.5 oz. is a huge pup for a 6.5 lb. mom. Keep an eye out for signs of exhaustion. It's probably a small litter which usually results in bigger pups, more resources to go around. She sounds like she's doing great. Keep us informed.
