| At last Missy had her babies...... Well at 5.45am Missy let out a scream and woke me (thank goodness). I got the light on in time to see our first wee baby, a boy being born. I'll tell you what a shock. Me and hubby just got her down the stairs and into her box in time for the next 1 a girl, and what do you know by 6.15am she had another and her last another girl. I could'nt beleive how quick and smoothly it all went as ive been worrying now for weeks. Anyway mum and babies are doing well. She,s pretty tired now, shes been spending all morning licking them, i finally just now got all 3 babies to feed at the same time and they are all asleep now. Could you ladies please tell me how often i should be checking that they are all feeding and how often. Im gona phone the vet now to get them all checked out. As this is Missy and my first litter any advice would be grateful. Thanks girls i,ll post pics later when Missy gets some rest. |

| CONGRATULATIONS!! So glad everything went with such ease for Missy and for you. Looks like you are going to have to put off getting that maltese for a bit as you are "really" going to have your hands full! Please some pics of your new family!!!!

| CONGRATS!!!!!!!!!! I know how you feel. We had our 1st litter a little more than a week ago. Our babies rarely stopped feeding for more than a few minutes for the 1st week. The past couple of days they seem to be taking longer naps & giving mom more break time. Enjoy your new babies. |

| Congratulation!!! How wonderful. I'm glad she had a fairly easy delivery!! I don't know about anyone else, but I checked on them all the time even through the night. I have to know all is well. I weigh them once a day at the same time every day. I just went through this last Thursday....so glad you get to enjoy this too.

| Congratulations on your puppies. Sounds like everything went great. As far as them eating, they basically just eat and sleep for the first while. But I always keep close eye on them and weight them daily also. Have fun!!
