| pregnant female what do you do? wanting to know when to confine the female as she get closer to birth time. do you set up potty box in pen..etc or continue to allow her outside? |

| congrats on your up coming babies... let her be and dont change her routine dont confine her, she will nest and want to stay close to you. Be available 24/7 3-5 days before whelp date to make sure your there when she needs you.

| Do you allow her to potty outside or use a potty box inside. By confining I mean away from the other dogs? |

| like i said I dont suggest to change their routine, the more change the more nervous or confused they can become...you want to keep things calm not create stress specially for a first litter! is this her first litter?

| Yes, her first litter..i was just concerned about the excitement of the other dogs and her picking up anything from the ground and passing it to the pups..fleas /parisites?(sorry spelling) she is on heartworm and flea meds. She has 4 weeks to go. |

| When they are pregnant , my girls are always allowed to have exercise til the last minute . I prepare the whelping box , show them the place . In house , I never confined them to a specific place .
