| I'm no expert but I think if the sack has been showing that long you better help her or get to the vet now. It should not take that long and you may lose that puppy if you dont get it out. Don't mean to scare you but it sounds like she needs help. Can you tell if it is the head out or feet? I wish one of the breeders could help you. Any breeders online??? Have you called the vet?

| If it was me - I would call the vet for sure. It might be just the water sac, but if it's a pup it needs out ASAP! I think you need to call!

| We'll forgive you, your always so good with your grammar and well spoken. Have we heard any news yet? Sometimes that first pup is a bear to get out. Hope she's gone to the vet and everything is alright.

| WE have puppies!!!! I rushed her to the vet...i'm on an icy dirt road out here in the sticks. Vet is 15 miles away. I just knew she was going to break that sac before we got there...but she didn't. Vet did an emergency c section and just as xray showed....she had one boy and one girl. Mommy is still groggy....and i didn't get the pups on to nursing until I got back home..another 15 miles holding the puppies next to my belly while driving a car that has the driver's side window broken!!!!!!!! I had the heater on high. All is fine now...except Mommy is still shivering! I have her in the whelping box and keep putting warm blankets over her she also has the heat pad under her. I fed her out of my hand..warm rice and milk.and gave her nutri-stat first. She is trying to lick them to make them poop....well..once. She is just so sleepy or tired or BOTH. I'm a nervous wreck!!!!!!!

Here's a a couple receipes for mom: Mix 1 Can of Goat's Milk with equal parts of water add 1 egg yolk and 1 tablespoon of Karo Syrup. (Quick recipe to give to Mom right after whelping) Whelping Pudding (I give this to mom throughout the time she's nursing & to puppies when I'm weaning) 16 oz water heated in micro - add 1 pkg of unflavored knox geletin and disolve. add 1 15 oz can of evaporated milk 2 tablespoons of Karo Syrup 2 Egg yolks 2 tablespoons of Vanilla Yogurt, mix all together, refridgerate until firm. I spoon out a couple of tablespoons for mom. Once again Congratulations and good luck, your work has just begun.
