My Tiny Treasures Donating Member | Do you let your males interact with your litters? I was hesitant and unsure, but I introduced Brodie slowly and he is GREAT! He is absolutley wonderful with the baby. He's gentle, he plays, he's not ruff, he wags his tail like theres no tomorrow ! The baby even tried to nurse on him and he just lays there ~ still wagging his tail. he's so cute with her! I'm just so pleased. Is this normal? |

| I don't personally. Cody is fine with them, but Trixie is too protective and tries to kill him. |

| After the puppies are old enough to walk and get around fairly well I let them mingle with the other females and males for a little bit each day while I am sitting there and watching them. I want the other dogs to get used to them and know that they are not to hurt them and play gently with them. The males usually are not interested in the puppies at all. All of the females think they are the mommy and try licking the puppies to death. They all think they have to give them baths......poor puppies.....tongues flying at them from all directions. |
