| Breeder research? How possible would it be to start a website to inform possible buyers of good breeders and bad and to research on YT.com before you buy? And is it possible to put an ad in the paper to search YT.com before you buy. I guess its a question for the administrators if someone can advertise like this.

If I would have known about this site I would have directed my boyfriend to the list. So he wouldnt have had to purchase my puppy via the internet Then I wouldnt have to play the guessing game on. Is it for real or a scam? 18...days till I get my puppy

Administrator | YorkieTalk does its best to inform all prospective Yorkie parents about good and bad breeders, and what to look for when adopting a Yorkie. If you do have a Web site, we would appreciate a link to YorkieTalk.com. There are sites out there that do discuss breeders, we would hope everyone does research first BEFORE adopting a Yorkie, but that doesn't always happen. If a member wants to post an ad at their own expense in their local paper to come to YT first, that would be fine, but unfortunately, we at YT do not have the financial resources to pay for advertising in local newspapers. Since YorkieTalk is free and we are not here to sell Yorkies (nor do we sell anything else besides a few YT logo items), we can't recoup the costs of advertising by adding more members. The site has grown based on word-of-mouth, and we hope we can continue to grow and help Yorkies. We want all prospective Yorkie parents to learn as much as they can before they get their Yorkie. |
