Congratulations! If they're doing well, nursing and she's taking to mother and leaving their cords alone, I'd stretch out that 30 minutes if it were me. This is all assuming you don't have a weak one. Nice job!

Actually, you do need to keep checking on them. They don't produce body heat for the first 3 days. Make sure they are warm and snuggled up to Mamma. Also make sure they don't get trapped under blankets or Cindy....a mother dog will not remove a puppy from a life-threatening position. Congratulations on your litter and welcome to YT!!

Thanks Guys Cindys doing fine , took her and pups to the vets today, all 4 pups are female , was realy hoping for at least 1 male as we are going to keep one but as long as there all fit and happy im happy.. The vet gave her an injection to clear her out as we are not sure if all the after birth has came out.. How long will we have to do all night checks?? i only have 2 days holiday left at my work so that covers tomorrow and friday, will they be ok to leave all night starting sunday night??? i realy want to do the best for the pups but im in a bit of a pickle with only have a couple of days holidays left... the pups weights were 100g - 3.5oz 150g - 5.2oz 125g - 4.4oz 125g - 4.4oz Heres another couple of pics http://i132.photobucket.com/albums/q...r/100_3720.jpg http://i132.photobucket.com/albums/q...r/100_3718.jpg http://i132.photobucket.com/albums/q...r/100_3716.jpg Kev
