Just got back from the vet's We had ad x-ray done (my vet came from his other office to do the x-ray) and saw 5 puppies all lined up perfectly and ready to come out any time now. No breech pups. No XL pups and none looked too small. There could be more in there, but the ones I could see were very clear....every little rib!

Well, she isn't actually past her due date...I bred her July 19th and July 21st. So if she delivers between today and Sunday, she'll be right on queue. And I am soooo relieved. Relieved that the first one headed out isn't too big and releived they are uniform in size and relived there are no breech ones and releived she doesn't have unterine inertia. I am soooo exhausted! My goodness, you'd think it was ME having 5 babies!

Good to hear she has a few days yet and not actually going over now you can relax a bit.Has she been nesting at all ?Mine has had milk for a few days and today was shredding toilet paper and ripped up a couple of her stuffed animals,so I guess she is almost there. Do you take temps on your females?
