My Tiny Treasures Donating Member | EXPERIENED Breeders advice PLEASE! Ok - I have a litter of Chi's 4 weeks old. One has a cleft palate. (I'm bottle feeding her) If she were to do well and things were ok with her....IF and that's a big IF - I decided to go ahead and part with her.....what would be the proper way to sell her. And like I said its IF, I decided. At this point, I'm very attached to her but want to explore my options as well. |

| puppy I can only give my opinion..a cleft puppy is very lucky to live to adulthood..you are doing agreat job. If the vet thinks it will be problem free, then you might get a small price for it, if it is only cosmetic..but if it will be prone to any healthy problems, I would look for a person who wants to take a chance and care for it. In that case it would be free in my eyes. I think it depends on what the pups future might be..good luck |

| I would use extreme caution in placing this puppy. I would hesitate to ask for money but I surely wouldn't advertise her as free either. Whoever gets her must be prepared for the care & expense that may be necessary. I would not let her go to someone that just wants a free Yorkie. Good luck. |

My Tiny Treasures Donating Member | I appreciate EVERYONES advise I really don't think I'll part with her. I already love her But I was just looking to "what if". Her cleft is in her soft palet. She's doing quite well, but I realize its a day by day thing. Its funny. I can't find too much info on the cleft palates. No one on the threads seem to have raised one. |
