| advice please Since Dee Dee has had her pups her stools are loose is this normal she is well in herself eating fine drinking , playing in her breaks from the pups with the other dogs but her poop is loose she is waking me up in the night to get her out she is such a clean dog she does not like to mess in her bed is this normal? |

| I am not sure when she had her pups, how old are they? Often the dams will get a loose stool the first few days after having puppies especially if they eat the afterbirth. If you are feeding something a little different because she has whelped that can throw them off. You are limited to what you can give her as she is nursing pups. Pedialyte which is a electolyte solution for babies or kids will often work pretty good. Do you have pedilyte in your Chemist shops where you are in England or a product like it? If you do, about 3 cc's about 3 or 4 times a day for a couple of days should work. You can't give it more than 3 days in a row. |

| thanks for the advice she gave birth a week ago i will try your suggestions , she is eating fresh chicken everyday which she has eaten since she was a pup herself and her dried food is always in her bowl so nothing too different she has a spoon of cottage cheese too , we are having a heatwave here in the uk so i wonder if that could have affected her |
