They also arent very interested. I need suggestions. They need to start eating some. I started Friday and 3 times a day I try to get them to eat some and they lick it alittle off the sonn and start to cry and walk away. |

| try the suppliment only or grind up into dust a quality dry puppy food and mix with the suppliment, it should be warmed and real soupy at first so they can lap it up. (I use royal canin baby puppy) hope this helps

| I just put a good quality dry puppy kibble in the blender and then moisten with pretty warm water (around 100 degrees) to a soupy texture that they can lap. I let them lick it off my finger first. Offering the food only once or twice a day until they begin eating it is enough and then go to 4 times a day. |

| I used to work really hard at getting puppies to eat, well things have changed at my house, I don't worry about it anymore. I just soften the mothers food in the hot water and let it cool and when the puppies are interested in it they just start eating, right next to their mother. I do not rush them , Shocker just started eating and he is 5 weeks. I do not fix them any special food just the puppy food the mother is already eating. My life is so much simpler and the puppies thrive. |

| I also start my pups at 4 weeks just getting them to lap soft food once a day... then I gradually increase the amount of times when I see they are getting the hang of it... usually by 5 weeks... and by 6 weeks they are usually fully weaned from mom. Good luck!!
