| We are breeding Dori and Yogi Okay we have for the last year planned this breeding for Dori and Yogi, Dori is 6# and this is her 2nd heat, she is 18 months and Yogi is 13 months and weighs 4#13oz. Today is day 10 of her cycle. She is "in the receiving mood,)her bleeding has changed to a clearer color. Since they are together most of the time, how often do you let them have an encounter? I am keeping a belly band on him and a diaper on her most of the time. They have had one encounter today. I have read of what days to make sure they breed but failed to research how any times ect. Thanks in advance. We are praying for puppies

| I bred mine on the 10th, 11th and 13th day, one time each day. We had 5 little girls. I'm not sure how others breed theirs, but this is what was recommended to me from another breeder.

| Thank-you for responding. Wow, 5 little girls, how precious! I will keep them covered after the encounters on the correct days. They appear too tired and uninterested after this morning anyway, lol. Rebecca, I'm sure your summer is busy with school out and two new babies! I will keep everyone here posted on our progress. Hoping to have puppies in August!!!!

| sometimes its best to separate when she is in heat only to bring him out the days of mating. Males sometimes lose interest separating gets him excited again to see her and get the job done. good luck to you
