| Please help I want to Register my Dog with Akc Hello My name is Kristina and I have a 4 month old Yorkie Male. I got him as a b-day gift in april. ( my boyfriend got him for me) And he did not know what to ask for or anything. Well the mother and father of my yorkie ( Eddie) was or is suppose to be purebread and are registered with AKC. But I don't think they registered the litter. Is there any other way for me to get Eddie registered with AKC or anyother clubs? |

Donating YT 10K Club Member | For AKC registeration the breeder has to register the litter first. Once they've completed their application, then AKC will mail them paper forms. The breeder can also register the litter on line, once the breeder completes the sale information (you), then you could register on line too. HTH ~ I believe it's possible to register your pet yourself with the other registeries out there, but I don't know the procedure.

| the breeder has to reg the litter for you to be able to reg your dog with AKC. I believe CKC and APR are the only two that dont require past pedigree to reg. If youre baby will be only your spy/neutered pet there really isnt any need for the papers.

| Contact the breeder and see if they would be willing to back track and register the litter.... you might even offer to pay to have the litter registered and then go from there |

He got eddie for me for mybday. and he works with this guy that his mother in law breeds yorkies and yorkiepoos and i keep trying to get him to call his friend i told him it was just to ask questions about the parents to see if they are even registered. because if they are then if she gives me the numbers i will tell her that i will register him and the little or what every i will pay for it i just want him registered. I guess i will have to keep my fingers crossed |
