check this out http://www.puppyfind.com/view_listin...date%26back%3D I am not sure if this is okay but I wanted to get an opinion on this listing. The addy is one state and location says another. BUT, what does Ch in front of the name of each puppy mean?

Does Ch usually mean Champion? As in champion lines? At least they have a website which can give you a better understanding of what their breeding program is all about...

I thought that AKC does not allow the use of CH in a name unless the dog is actually a CH. Maybe they are not gonna be AKC reg, huh? What I noticed was that the adress at the bottom left under the person's name was MN. The ad says she is in Texas..HMMMMM..These ads get wierder..

From what I've seen on PF lately, I would be more surprised to see something that's legit

I agree the website is out of control. When I was looking for my little girl I was emailed by several bogus people who were low and behold on mission trips in who knows where. I could wire my money to them and in return get a big fat nothing. I did find my male on there back in December so there are legit people on there but it is so hard to figure out who is real. have a great day yorkie lovers! julie~Prince~Paris

I bought one of my pups on the PF website, and I got many many emails from the religious do gooders who just couldn't keep their pups when they were on such wonderous missions in other countries. I just kept emailing people until I found someone who accepted paypal. Paypal is always safe right?

I purchased a pup from a wonderful breeder in Brazil once. She emailed me last week with a copy of an email she received regarding puppy find. She had a little boy advertised on there and just because she was from another country she was emailed and called a "liar" and a "scam". She happens to be very legit and ethical. With so many scammers on there now, it's really hard for the honest people to advertise on that site. My sugesstion to her was to leave that place alone.

One thing I've noticed on puppyfind, is the ridiculously low prices. You know the old saying, "If it seems too good to be true......." Those listings always seem to require upgrading and paying a fee to puppyfind. I'm not sure I trust someone that won't at least disclose some of their info. Edited to add; Another thing I noticed, a some of the breeders on there, have many other breeds. I happened to discover that when trying to help a friend find a puppy. They make it appear that they just have one breed, and 'lo and behold, through searching you discover that's not the case. Last edited by Yorkieville200; 03-18-2006 at 08:44 AM.
