| My Scarlet is from Devils of York (she is Devils of York Pleasure)...I purchased her thru Pinkerlton though as I was already purchasing a male from Kinga at Pinkerlton and wanted a female but she didn't have any and Devils of York had Scarlet....I didn't want it to sound as though Pinkerlton is a broker, as she is not. They are just friends and she knew that Devils of York had females available when Pinkerlton didn't have any. So, anyway, I couldn't be more pleased with my girl that came from Devils of York. She's beautiful inside and out.

Just out of curiosity, with so many fine Yorkie breeders in the states, why would any one get one from Europe. Not saying it's a bad thing, just curious. Jeanie

My Stewart My Stewart is from Devils of York. I did import him and his was terriffic. I love him so much. They are great people when I was involved with them. The only con is that Barbara doesn't read english. She has to wait until her friend comes for a visit to translate it. Take a look at Stewart. www.ayorkie4u.com Gina

THANK YOU (aYorkie4u), I appreciate you posting your site. I took a look at your Ranger puppy from Devils of York and he's a hansome kid! How are his knees? What's your opinion of his temperment? Your puppy's father is the same father of my puppy's (to be) mother- Devils of York Life is Life. Go take a look at her if/when you get the chance. http://www.wildbluecherry.hu How old is your little guy now? Any current photos available? I'd love to see a side shot of him standing if you have it! Thanks again, much appreciated!!!

JeanieK, this'll explain why I went outside the US JeanieK, I went to Hungary because she was recc. by a few breeder here stateside. NO ONE has exactly what I am wanting that is for sale. I'm a very picky mom (as most of us are) and just haven't found my next dog here in the US or Canada and so I went overseas and immediately found exactly what I was looking for! A yorkie w/ brains and beauty. A yorkie that reminds me that it is still a terrier in temperment and is bulit like a little gymnast w/ a good coat and substantial bone that fits within the AKC standard. And BAM! I found it on the first hit w/ Wild Blue Cherry Yorkies and Devils of York Kennels! ps my first yorkie: Little Nemo the Black Gigas and my second yorkie: Little Isaac Flying Serenity BOTH came from the US. I have yet to find anything that compares to those two in quality. That unique fine balance. Sure, everyone has a nice yorkie and there are loads here, but I was wanting something more. Just my opinion.

Well that's a very good explanation. Do you breed them? It's probably good to get some new bloodlines into the states. I guess I figured the only reason one would go to Germany for a yorkie is if they wanted a Biewer (sp). Do you have pictures posted?

Just remember CH in the background doesn't mean you will have a puppy free of health issues or soundness in mind and body. I don't mean to sound negative but too many people lose sight of the fact that CH doesn't guarantee a better Yorkie. I wish you the best! Last edited by YorkieRini; 03-07-2006 at 07:56 AM.

For the record, I was not referring to this breeder. Never heard of them to be honest.

YorkieRini--- YorkieRini, Trust me I know that if Brad Pit and Jennifer Aniston had babies that not all of those kids would come out being models or superstars! The same goes w/ Ch. lineage. It just can increase your odds if those genetic lines are in the right hands. I understand that even then there are no guarantees, but then again there aren't any "guarantees" in life. Thanks! OH! And you can see my pup's pictures (she only weeks old in the photos-and all puppies are cute! ) at the following link: http://littlecamille-princessofy1.magix.net/

Also, I am not a breeder. I just wanted something that I wouldn't be limited in showing, going back to my definition of what I was looking for.

Devils of York has some stunning yorkies. They have wonderful pedigrees behind them and own many champs. I think their is now way of goin wrong with them.

I guess if you are planning to show then there is a good reason to be picky. How long have you been showing Yorkies?

The days are going by so fast for me! Honestly, I've only been showing Yorkies for the past 5 years. I've been showing other breeds both in Japan and here in the US since I was 12. Not every breeder as stunning as these two can produce all ch.'s in each litter. There will and I'm sure there are puppies that can't make it in the conformation ring. So even if you're intention is not to show, I'd still contact them! lol, I also e-mailed Kata about putting the titles in front of all of her dogs names. I think she's going to tell me that there really isn't any room for all of them! YAY!
