My yorkie is 64 days pregnant today. Hello. My name is Christy. I'm married with 4 kids. My yorkie Tasha is 64 days pregnant. We also have another yorkie named Jersey, she is my oldest daughter's baby, Jessica also has a mixed breed dog Comet she rescued. Comet was on it's way to the pound when my daughter decided to bring her home. We are also the proud owners of a mini pin and 2 cats. Both of our yorkies have been bred for the first time. Tasha was due yesterday and Jersey is due march 26th. We are so excited. I just wanted to introduce myself and my babies..

Thank you. Thank you for making me feel welcome. I have a feeling I'm going to like it here. Tasha has spent all morning in my closet so I have a feeling she is going to be having babies. I will let you all know how it goes.

not sure how I'm not sure how to upload pics on here. I have pics of Jersey. I had bought the kids a digital camera and printer for christmas along with this computer so they took a bunch of pics and put them on the comp. I will have them help me figure out how to get one uploaded on here. Jessica has several of jersey but i'm not sure if she took any of tasha and put it on here. I will ask her when she gets home from school. She is still hiding out in the closet. She doesn't want to be in her whelping box. I figure when she has them I'll move her and her puppies when she is done. Right now I'm allowing her to go where she wants. The closet is big and has linoleum in it so it will be easy to clean up. Thank the good lord she doesn't feel like going to the couch or my bed lol. Her temp has flexulated (i know i prob spelled that wrong) so much it isn't telling me anything. She has a few of the signs but not enough to tell me for sure..hopefully soon and all is safe with her.

Welcome to YT and don't worry about her being a day or so over as she may not have taken the first day you bred them.

I only bred her one day. She spent one day with her hubby and we brought her home after they tied. I didn't want her to tie too many times so I stayed til they tied once and brought her home with me. With this being her first time I thought i'd do it that way. And your right I'm watching her constantly waiting and waiting..lol a watched pot never boils right lol

Welcome to YT. Have you had babies at your house yet? How many puppies are each of them expecting? The temp fluctuating might just be a flluke. Are you using a dig. therm.? The temp will go down before active labor starts and then goes back up as labor and delivery progress. Gotta keep those babies warm and mother nature has a plan..LOL

This is my first time breeding yorkies but not my first time breeding. Tashs is supposed to have 2 maybe 3 and Jersey we aren't sure yet. I've palpated her and felt 3 pups for sure but she isn't far enough along yet for x-rays. I've never delivered pups from a small breed before. It took me forever to finally decide to even breed her. There is always a chance something could go wrong and I wanted to make sure she was ready and i was ready before i took that chance. She is 2 years old and this is her first litter. Jersey is 1 year and 8 months old and this is also her first litter. I'm alot more nervous this time than I've ever been. I promise to keep everyone posted on how she does and thank you for all of your kind replies.

These little breeds can scare the bejeebees out of us when they are ready to whelp. I was a nurse for 40 years but still was nervous the first few deliveries..I had a delivery table with clamps, gloves, new tubes K-Y jelly, hand sanitizer and scissors and dental floss.. My hubby laughed at me but when I said hand me this or that, he was happy to have it handy..LOL
