Default Question

I was wondering if someone can haelp me. I have a female yorkie and my friends mom is getting a male. They Both have the Same Dad but a different mom. Can we breed them or no.

Hi, that would make them half siblings and they shouldn't ever be bred together.

You'll find lots of info here regarding breeding. Sit back, take your time and do your homework. Best wishes to you and your yorkie.

I was just browsing the list and there were so many that had false certifications or abuse. Sick, sick, sick!

Too bad the breeder I got Tilly from isn't on there! Could save other people from a ton of heartache! She still is worth every penny and every moment of panic we went through!

Absolutely not especially as you likely have no idea what bad genes you may be doubling up.

Wow, I noticed Shylah's breeder is on there. I am not surprised. When she came to deliver the puppies, she has so many and her friend had maltese ones. I knew right then and there she was not great, but like a lot of you I fell in love with Shylah!! I feel like I saved her from a horrible person. She turned out to be beautiful and the perfect size I was looking for. Around 4 lbs. She is a little shy (her name fits) but that is just personality. I have noticed my breeder's website isn't up anymore and she doesn't advertise, so she must be shut down. I didn't really care about papers, just wanted a pet yorkie. But next time if I ever get another one, I'll be sure to check out that web site and take my time at finding another one. You be come more and more experienced the longer you have yorkies and know what to look for.

Default Great Find!

I am in search for a yorkie breeder, now I know where to stay away from.
Shame on those people who lost their AKC for 'lack of food & shelter', 'animal cruelty, 'lying about registered pups and parents',... What goes around comes around, I would love to be there when it came around to these people! Penalities just don't seem to be harsh enough for these poor animals.
Thanks for the good link.

Love Wish I had this before

This is a good thing , I wish that I could have checked out my breeder she was not very good But my Mim's is all better now and it cost a lot but I love her and have a good Vet . Think of us on Thursday she is going in to be fixed & chipped. She is so small I dont know how they do it. I have been really spoiling her aal week end and I am taking her to work the day after. I have a great boss

Sad Seaside Yorkies in Miami Florida..bad breeders!!!!!

I just had a little girl yorkie who I had to put down because of a soft palate defect. She would get constant infections and surgery could not repair the problem. I bought her in 10/06 from Seaside Yorkies in Miami, florida, www.seasideyorkies.com. I have e-mailed, called about her health problems to Monique the owner about the problem and have been ignored.Their one year guarantee is supposed to replace my puppy with an equal puppy, NOT DONE!! I had heard after purchasing her that they sold sick puppies and didn't honor the guarantee, but it was too late I already had purchased my yorkie. Don't fall for their false advertising, do not buy from them.

I'm so sorry you lost your baby.
You should cross post your experiences with this breeder in the
Breeder, Vet, & Groomer Reviews so others may see.
As this is the only way to get the word out about bad breeders who do not stand behind what they produce.
