| Meatball Recipe-Gain Weight I would like to know if anyone on the forum has the meatball recipe for helping your dog gain weight? I do know that you use hamburger, wheat germ and eggs, but that is all I can remember.. Thanks in advance for your help! Melanie |

I got this recipe from another YT member. 1lb hamburger or ground chicken/ turkey 1c Total cereal crushed 1c uncooked Oatmeal 1 egg 1/3c wheat germ (unless wheat sensitive) 1pkg Knox gelatin w/vitamin C 1/8c flaxseed oil 1/8c sulphured molasses Mix dry ingredients with crushed total and then mix wet and combine the two. Knead well and form into meatballs/logs freeze until use. Serve raw thawed. You can add fresh veg in season shredded fine (carrots, green beans are a favorite) and I usually add a spoonful of fresh chopped parsley to the mix.

| That's funny, I just ran across that recipe on the web this morning. Apparently, it's called "satin balls". Here's a link to more info on it: http://www.njboxers.com/satin-balls-recipe.htm

Not really sure but I tried to research it and it says that it is "heavier and sweeter". I think it's just dark molasses which you could find in the grocery store.

For the furbabies, no, you don't cook. I was referring to people eating it raw. Sorry I confused everyone.
