| Wow! They had a Yorkie litter of 7 pups! Holy Cow! I don't know anything about this breeder, I would just be cautious of anyone with this many different breeds and 7 litters born within a month of each other that need care. Again, I know nothing about them, this would just raise q's for me. |

There is a reason why I asked about this breeder and I wanted to wait to see if anyone else responded before I put the reason why.

| hmmmmmm....I'd be leary of all the different breeds there also. How does she keep them seperated? cages? I notice she doesn't tell the wt of the mom. Just that she's larger. But to have EIGHT pups!.....and she sells the pups from 3lbs to over 8 lbs.... the 2nd mom, cookie, doesn't look like a full blooded yorkie, IMO. |

The other yorkie doesnt look like a full bred yorkie to me either. Well just the coloring makes me think that. And the mom has to be really large in order to have 8 pups.

| Did you do a search on YT and see if her name or kennel name comes up?

There are several signals the these may not even be Yorkies ...perhaps Silkies. Lots of warning signs and MS is totally known for puppy mills. So...I would say...caveat emptor !!!

But the main reason why I asked about this breeder is because this is where I bought my yorkie from. I have had her for over a year and love her to death. I bought her before I found out about the Yorkie Talk website on a recommendation from a friend that bought a dog from her. Yes I bought the dog sight unseen from MS and had her shipped to NY and wish I would have found this site before I purchased her. In reading this site there are a few things in my dog that I have noticed. 1. she has an underbite (the breeder told me this b4 I got her and I wasn't concerned because it wasn't life threatening) but if I had known what I know now I know this is a genetic defect in the line. 2. Her hair won't grow and is very coarse. She is over a year old and still has puppy hair. I know now that this is also a genetic defect. 3. Her ears are HUMOUNGOUS and legs EXTRA long. I have never seen a yorkie as tall as she is. She is very tall and her ears are huge. This to me is also some type of defect or either not a good line. I love the dog I have but if I knew then what I know now I would not have purchased from her. I think she must not be breeding to better the breed. I haven't quite figured it out but the more things I learn the angrier I get that my dog doesn't seem to be genetically correct with the yorkie line. She looks full blooded yorkie but these were just some things that I observed.

| Looks like these are people who are in the business of raising different smaller breeds of dogs to sell. I see nothing wrong with doing this....there is no reason this can't be done in a loving, caring way. I certainly see a lot of things about this site that I like. I think the pictures tell a lot. The animals are healthy and beautiful and appear to be very well taken care of. The people appear to be a family with children who live in a nice home and who love and enjoy their pets. They are not trying to raise only "small small" little dogs. They have many beautiful larger pups as well - and even suggest that they might be more appropriate for families with small children. I think their prices are very fair....and much less than many people are trying to sell these breeds for. As far as puppy "playtime" -- mine has "going outside time," "running around the house time," "being confined to the kitchen time," etc. I especially like their sense of humor and the way they tell stories and talk about their little dogs. What wonderful pictures! You wouldn't see pictures like this from a puppymill........ If I were rich, younger, and had the appropriate facilities, I would love to raise dogs as these people are doing. I think it would be wonderful to be able to care for so many dogs, raise healthy pups, and watch them go to loving homes. There is no reason in the world that this can't be done by good people in a loving caring way. I know a lot of people who are raising litters of puppies in their own home that aren't doing as good a job. I think too many of us look at all breeding sites "with a little bit of a chip on our shoulders" and don't give even the most respectable, well run ones a fair chance. Most of the criticisms posted here are unfounded - and only guesses. It sounds to me like anyone interested in purchasing a puppy from these breeders has the opportunity to correspond with them, talk with them, and get to know them well before they purchase any puppy. And - I'll bet they would be happy to have you check out their home and facilities. It also seems that they are still in touch with and spend time with some of the pups that they have sent to new homes. If I were looking for a pup, I would be tempted to check this site out. And, only after learning a great deal more about it - would I critize them. Be fair!!!! I suspect these people might be very respectable, loving, and caring breeders. Some of you are doing a lot of "reaching" and "guessing" to try and find fault with these people. And - last, but not least - any little puppy purchased from this facility needs a loving caring home for only 10 weeks or so before they come into our home. And, it appears to me that these puppies are well taken care of during that time. And - the adult dogs appear to be well taken care of and loved also. Again - as usual - I wish these people could come onboard and give more information to those of you who have so many doubts. But they probably don't have time to be on YT (if they know it exists) as much as we are. Carol Jean |

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | I do agree with Carol Jean and am trying not to judge any more sites by what I see or read....BUT....After visiting a place that DID have multiple Breeds ...I didn't like what I saw and even MORE what I read about them after I was there. Multiple Breeds like that site had is a big RED Flag in my little opinion. |
