| I've been a mess all this time haha. I just was reading about green discharge and it seems there's so much disagreement on if it's good or bad? Have you guys experienced this with your dogs? She hasn't really done anything else since ..maybe she's sleeping to rest up for what's to come later tonight. |

| Usually a green color BEFORE any babies are born means detaching placentas. Green AFTER birth of at least 1 baby is normal. Presenting a small bag (bubble) of fluid is also normal, and fine if it breaks. Timing is very important for survival of the puppies. Hard labor for more than 45 minutes to an hour, you should consult a Vet. After Labor has started, if I'm not done in 4 hours or so, I also consult my Vet. Usually the placenta will start detaching after 4 hours. |

| I just read the previous page, your Vet had you watch for green, because it's bad, before any puppies are born. Have you had any puppies yet? Feel free to call me if you need to talk. Good Luck with a successful whelp! |

| Thank you!!! I will do if I have any complications. She's definitely getting ready to have a puppy I believe. She looks like she's clearly very uncomfortable and breathing very hard and labored and also scratching at her blanket. It's only been about 2 hours since I noticed the green discharge and she's had other liquids coming out as well since then. I think it's her water breaking. |

| Glad for an update- but if green before puppies is bad and green during/after puppies is normal I'm a little worried that that green discharge may have been placental previa- how are things? Did everything go okay?

| She still had no signs and still had green discharge this morning. I'm at the vet right now and she's getting prepped for a c section. There's a possibility the puppies could be dead. I can't stop crying |

| Mimi had an emergency C-section performed today. Her puppies came out without heartbeats and 3 of them had skin that was starting to fall off around their stomach and chin area. They tried their hardest to resuscitate them but none of them made it. We now have 4 little angel boys in the sky watching over us and their mommy. Mimi also got spayed and she is recovering now. She's doing excellent. I'm still grieving the loss of my puppies so I will be off the site for a few days while I process everything. I might come back on looking for a puppy to purchase later on as I will never breed again. Not only was it financially expensive (I don't care about money) but the worst is the stress I put on my poor dog and I'm completely and utterly heart broken now. |

| I am so sorry for this terrible loss. I can't imagine how you & Mimi feel. I am glad to hear momma seems to be stable. You both are really going to need each other as you go through this heartbreaking loss. I totally get needing time to yourself. Just know we all care deeply & we are here to listen.

| I am sorry for your loss. I am really glad your girl made it and that you got her to the vet quickly, I am quite sure it saved her life. Breeding is full of heartbreak. I wish you and Mimi both healing.
