| 4 week old cow hocked pup Hi i'm looking for advice on a pup I've bred that is a bit cow hocked. He's been to the vet and they're suggesting it was caused by being to cramped in womb and his ligaments are a bit stiff. So several times a day i've been stretching his legs for him in a series of exercise. This has actually helped a lot as he's up and walking now and seems to be getting about. The problem is he's hit the age now that every time i pick him up, he's up and about and wont let me do the exercise anymore. So he's no longer improving as fast as he was. I've read about bindings that are used successfully in different breeds that help. I just can't find anything on yorkshire terrier. So I'm reluctant to give them a try. So if anyone has any advice it would be greatly appreciated ? |
