Yorkie Yakker | Passing of my male I recently lost the love of my life, my male yorkie to PLN. I have been devastated to say the least. Luckily he had a liter of puppies before his passing and I was able to keep his son. I had his body cremated, but I wanted to ask the community what have people done with the ashes for their special pup? I currently have a wood urn for them, but he was my everything and I would like to do something special for him. : sad: |

| I am so sorry for the loss of your little boy. I know how much it hurts. I have never had a beloved pet cremated but I have had to bury a few on our property over the years. It is sweet that you want to do something special with his ashes. You could consider putting his ashes in a hole and plant a nice tree or some kind of plant that lives a long time. You just have to do whatever you feel comfortable with. Personally, after I die, I would like my ashes planted near my beloved yorkies that have passed over the years.

| I am so very sorry for your loss and I feel your pain. losing our babies is so crushing. I still cry for my last 2 girls I loved them too much and miss them so much. I have all the ashes from my 4 girls. I held on to 3 until my last one passed in 2013 I wanted to bury them together as they grew up with each other. I still have their ashes, 2 years and it's still hard for me to let her go, but, this year I am planning to put them all to rest in one of my raised garden beds and have plaques for each one with their name on it. Letting them all go will again be one of the hardest things I have to do. That is my plan, if you have a garden you can place him there with a memorial plaque. (((hugs)))

Yorkie Talker | I too am so sorry for your loss and understand your sorrow. I lost my Riley last Dec and I have his ashes in my office. I've stipulated that his urn be put in my casket when God calls me home. He was my first fur baby. I miss him every day |

Yorkie Yakker | I want to say I feel the same way. I want him to go with me when I have to go. It is nice to know others feel the same way. He was my precious love. He made so many people happy with his puppies he produced and was my first doggie love. |

| sorry for the loss of your boy...i have not lost a dog myself but I really like the idea of cremating because if you bury them in your background and you move -your puppy will never be with you again.......be strong!
