I am curious what is the largest litter you have raised.

I had six in one litter once. The male was 4 pounds and the female was 6 pounds. What a job, but loved it. We had puppies running around everywhere.

I've only had 2 yorkie litters and the larger out of the two is 4 pups. Now, one friend of mine had a litter of 8 and then a couple of 7.

She-Ra was from a litter of 7. She-Ra is begging to not follow her mama!

I have had 2 litters of 7- Talk about puppies , puppies, puppies. They were born about 16 days apart and before they were weaned and out the door to their forever homes I thought I would lose what little mind I had left.

That was 2 years ago and now my Star is due on the 3 rd and the vet told me today to expect 6 or so. I sure hope he is wrong.

I don't have another due for some time so maybe I will stay sane.

Years ago in an old issue of Yorkie Tales magazine there was a photo of a Yorkie with 10 pups..a record they said.

THAT is a lot of puppies! OUCH! We had five, it was just enough

My friends Westie had 11 puppies today! It was something else to see!!!

11 pups from a Westie!! Wow!!! My girlfriends raises Pits, her female had puppies this past summer, she had 10 one day when I was there, then I swear...2 days later had 3 more!!! 13 live puppies, Wouldn't have believed it, but I SAW it!!!

WOW! That's is odd! I've never heard of that and didn't even know it was possible!

I was in shock to see the eleven! The mom went in labor about 4:30 this morning and delivered her last one at around 3:00 this afternoon...she said they just kept coming, LOL! She didn't have an xray so she was expecting about four.
