Senior Yorkie Talker | Pregnant yorkie I have a three year old pregnant female that won't eat . She ate a very small amount yesterday and nothing but a couple of bites of boiled beef today. Is this normal she will be four weeks along on tuesday. I'm so worried about her. I had her breed because I lost 20 month old little man ( yorkie) it was very hard on me and now I have put her in danger because of my loss of Mickey Joe . Can someone help me please and thank you. I know I'm wrong for what I thought was good for me |

| Has she been to the vet to verify she is pregnant? Some females will get pyometra several weeks after a heat cycle so it would be best to have the vet verify there is nothing else going on with her. What kind of diet was she on prior to being bred? Most dogs love boiled chicken and rice. You might fix her some of that and mix it in with her kibble. Also a canned dog food like Pedigree Healthy Digestion might entice her to eat. Please keep us updated on how she is doing.

Senior Yorkie Talker | Pregnant yorkie I will be taking her to her vet tomorrow. I have tried the name brand dog food canned(paid almost 3 $s for one) she won't eat that either. She has always been fed a very cheap brand of food till I got her and I have been trying to get her on a good brand. She wasn't spoiled till I got her. She prefers people meat. I boil hers |

Senior Yorkie Talker | Pregnant yorkie I have found that if I take to the grocery and get her chicken stripes, she eats much better. The vet confirmed she is with babies and also very spoiled. Wish she would eat the puppy food but I'm just happy I'm getting her to eat right now |

| 6 year old pregnant yorkie So my neighbor decided to get rid of his two yorkies as he was moving out of the country and couldn't take them. I decided to take the female Lola. Lola is a larger yorkie and very cute. She gets along with my 1 year old 3 pound chihuahua August. I have had Lola for 2 weeks and I'm starting to notice her nipple are protruding and she is also peeing a lot and it has a very strong foul odor. I made her a vet appointment for tomorrow morning because I noticed several small bright red clots when she pees. I think she may be pregnant as I have never noticed her to be this fat as I saw her in the yard almost everyday when my neighbor was around.I'm confused because if she is preg I don't know what to do as I have never done this before also should she be bleeding ? |

Senior Yorkie Talker | Winny my pregnant yorkie Winny is doing good since I got her the Stella and Chewys beef treats, I mix them with the puppy food and she eats it now. She is due in 2 1/2 weeks. I will be glad when it's over for her. |
