| Excellent article! Very educational! Royal Canin has an extensive educational program for breeders. I missed this one....I usually get all their newest articles and presentations....must have something to do with this new computer.....I have to contact them and make sure I am back in the loop with their research, educational programs, and literature related to breeding. Thanks for posting Gail! |

| Thank you Gail that was an excellent article and I really enjoyed reading it. Though my background is with farm animals- and due to my allergies intensifying, I am no longer intently participating in raising farm animals- I am perpetually fascinated by life and it's propagation and that article was written in very user friendly terms also. Great link!

| I enjoyed the article. I didn't know Royal Canin was involved in this kind of research and education. I'll check into their programs. I've fed their foods here but have since gone to a predominently raw diet. I have heard of one veterinarian breeder who routinely injects his whelps with plasma feeling it gives them a boost. Do you suppose he injects it into their bellies as in the article, or some other way as a supplement? I wish I had more medical knowledge. What I know has been cobbled together through being a breeder.
