Can you answer this question? During weaning most breeders feed puppies a type of kibble substance. I currently feed my potential show dog and perspective breeding bitch Primal. If I'm able to get a show prospect out of these two I'd like to feed them Primal as well. My question is: At what age would a pup be able to handle raw? I've heard of pup's stomachs not being able to handle the bacteria from raw. I'll feed kibble if needed but I really believe raw/home cooking are optimum for canines. I liken them to athletes and raw/home cooking will give them their best results. *No offense is meant to those who feed kibble* | |

YT 2000 Club Donating Member | Good question and it is one I have. I have asked different breeders some vets and I get confusing or very different responses. With my next litter I too want to go to either raw or home cooking *if* that is the best option for the young ones.
