| Can I keep them all? Can I Can I Can I! I thought this was suppose to get easier with time. Always when a puppy leaves I feel a lil tug on my heartstrings. Bigger puppies are ready at 8 weeks most times here. Social little devils, full of energy, eating well and hitting the newspaper or pads......hummmm.......most of the time....lol. This time I have a few smaller puppies and they have no business leaving here that early. Im getting so attached to them! The extra weeks are give us more time to love I guess. Can I keep them all....instead of 101 dalmations we can have 101 yorkies one day.......... Pretty sure Im gonna cry when they leave here. Guess Im looking for a pat on the back from you all that have had to go thru it too. |

| I bet it is harder to let them ones go that you keep longer. Thats why I couldnt be a breeder. I would be one of those people hoarding 100 dogs

| Exactly... Quote:
I guess I would have to keep in touch with my pups via email or phone calls to/from the new owners. I email my breeder with pictures on occasion, and she always seems overjoyed to hear from me. Good luck turning your pups over...how sad...

| It is SOOO hard to let them go isn't it?! You love and care for them all this time and then they go away to their "forever home".....the ONLY thing that helps so much is the looks on the family faces! That is my FAVORITE part about the whole breeding process AND the hardest since that means they are leaving too!~

| Maybe you could keep 1? I know that's not helping any, but maybe you could!

| It is hard to let them go, but I would suggest you keep even the bigger kids until they are at least 10 weeks, 12 optimally. That'll give you an extra month of puppy kisses and them a better developmental beginning.

| I haven't had to go through this being I'm not a breeder, but I will still give you a pat on the back. I know Ransom's breeder was just heartbroken to see Ransom leave. Hearing her tears on the phone talking to her about broke my heart. I felt sooo guilty for even taking Ransom from her. The least I can do for her is constantly send emails with pictures and little things that Ransom does throughout his day. She will ALWAYS be his first Mommy and I will ALWAYS keep Ransom in her life.
