| Heat cycle and split heat information Today while researching information on split heats I came across this interesting article on heat cycles: Estrus (heat) Cycle & Concerns : DobermanData.com : Pedigree Research for Doberman Pinchers I have raised yorkies for over 16 years and never had a female have a split heat until now. What is weird is that it is not just one having a split heat but 3 females. I know they were in heat a few months ago and now they are in heat again. One is a pup that came in heat at 6 months and now three months later she is in heat again. I do not plan on breeding any of these that are in heat but I am curious if any breeders on here have experienced this and if you ever bred a female that had a split heat?
