My Lil' Tyler Thought I would share a picture of Tyler that I snapped the other night.. He is a tiny tiny boy! He was born June 13th and is almost 7 months old and only weighs 1.6 lbs.. NO I AM NOT JOKING!! He is from my Tess and Lupae, there was four in the litter and they all are on the small side.. Not a one of them is over 3 1/2 lbs.. He has been through every test there is and he has passed them all! I will probably never place him in another home.. With him being so tiny I would just die if someone called me and said they had dropped or stepped on him! I cannot believe that there are breeders that actually breed for tiny yorkies like Tyler, I would NEVER sleep or eat again from all the worrying I would be doing!!!!!!!!! Just thought I would share.. We always spend New Year's Eve at home with our four-legged kids.. Melanie

Melanie!! He is a doll! I used to think I wanted one that tiny but you are so right about the worrying! I worry about my little Ava although she is very healthy....I will not even risk spaying her due to her size! Your little man is a real cutie! Would love to see more pics!! And Happy New Year!!

He is adorable. Don't think I could take the worry though! I have heard some people with pups that size put bells on them so they always know where they are at to avoid stepping on them...sounds like it would drive them nuts with all the jingling.

Yes, mine wear bells and believe it or not I know each dog by the sound of the bells!!! lol! They all sound slightly different...it's wierd and unplanned but true!! Mine are very good about "getting out of the way...but when they were puppies we had to be careful. Ava won't even go through a door if someone is touching it...she waits until the coast is clear or you have to carry her through! She has never been stepped on which I bet most people cannot claim for their 5 lb and up yorkies.
