| Just Curious-Chocolate and Traditional Yorkie Anyone bred a chocolate male to a traditional female? I assume they will come out traditional but just wondering if anyone has experience with these colors and what color little babies you had! |

| A reputable breeder will only breed Yorkies that follow the standard and the chocolate Yorkies are considered a fault. Ocassionly a reputable breeder will have an off color Yorkie but they would never breed them.

| There's no guaranty that you'll get colors you want just because you breed an off color yorkie. It depends on the breed lines and the genetics. I realize it shouldn't be done, but it is unfortunately done. Even if you understand the complete lines of the dogs, there's no guaranty that you'll get what you anticipate. |
