| Coming up on whelping!!! Okay...really nervous. From one week ago, I found out my girl is REALLY having 3 babies (the vet was wrong). I am so scared all of a sudden. My male lives here in the house. What do I do with the male during the delivery? I know to keep him away, but how long before should I do that? Will he cry for her? Will he bark? My girl follows me everywhere. She stares at me when I fold clothes, clean, she even stares at me while I'm taking a shower (glass doors). She needs me 24/7. I don't know how to explain it, but she just wants me constantly. I make myslef available to her at all times right now. Well...tell me if I'm falling for some kind of "doggy sh*&" LOL! I just dont' want my little boy to feel totally left out or unloved. I LOVE Y.T. !!!!!

| Trust me, when it gets to be time, she won't follow you everywhere...she will stay with her box, and her pups afterwards. You can offer her a t-bone and she probably won't glance your way. And she will need (and want) alone time with the pups afterwards, so you will have plenty of time for your male. She will become a different dog overnight and will probably snap on your male if he goes too close for her comfort. After being attacked a couple of times, he'll wise up and leave her alone. |

Donating YT 14K Club Member | She needs reassurance from you. She's going to follow you around and watch your every move. Perfectly normal. Keep your male away...I locked Rebel out during and after the process. He barked, whined, scratched the door but it's important for mom to feel safe and comfortable.

| Hahaha.... Not laughing at you.....its cute! I get nervous everytime and grouchy. Its scarey too. You just never know if there is going to be complications. Dont worry about the boy. Just put him up like txshopper said. He will be just fine. Feed him, water him, talk to him.......but mommy and babies are more important now. If hes spoiled he will throw a fit but let him. It might show him a bit of discipline.............Good luck with your new litter..........Im sure all of us wish you happy, healthy, adorable puppies and a great mommy yorkie. |

| Thanks! I does seem that she is looking for reassurace. You're right, I will have to lock my little guy out. I just feel so bad for him. I think if I just continue his morning rub down (he loves his massages) and a little chase every now and then, he'll be fine. When Maddie is spending time with her pups, we'll be able to have some time together for just us
