| Chocolate Yorkie Male Hello, I'm new here and this is my first time posting. I recently bought 12 yorkies from a breeder who could no longer keep them. Her husband lost his job and they had to move out of state within a few days. One of the yorkies is a 3 year old male stud that is "chocolate" in color. He has a brown nose and brown rims around his eyes. His coat is a soft silky light brown color. The former breeder said he was worth $2000. I had never heard of a chocolate yorkie until I saw it mentioned somewhere on this forum. My experience as a breeder has only been with black/blue tan/gold, combinations. I try to adhere to the AKC standard colors so I am not interested in using this little guy for a stud, even though he is cute and just as sweet as can be. Are there people out there seeking this color of yorkie? |

| Hello and welcome to YT - I have no idea on the demand for chocolate Yorkies, but I do know there is a member here with a chocolate and he is adorable. Since you have never heard of them before and you breed, I would guess that they are not sought after or you would have had people contacting you and inquiring about them. Just my opinion, I don't know for certain. I'm sure others will offer their opinions. Again, welcome to YT.
