| adolesent male question otis is 6 months old and is an entire male he lives with his mum and sister. they are both also intact i worked out a whole routine around what to do when the girls go into season 2 days ago the mum started her season and i was ready separate sleeping areas no moment unsupervised belly band on him just in case and the vet on speed dial if i found he needed something to calm him down (snip snip) then i waited...nothing happened....he gave her a quick sniff just to say hello then went back to sleep. i'm not complaining as it means no accidental pups but is this normal? there has been no extra marking no mounting... they play like normal is it because he is still young or should i be taking him to the vet for a check up? i'm planning to get the girls spayed this year Last edited by geo78; 02-08-2013 at 04:58 AM. |

Donating YT 10K Club Member | While he may be "capable" of siring a litter at 8 months....health clearances can't be completed until he's at minimum a year.
