C-Section help My little girl had a c -Section 24 hours ago. Has no interest in baby but this morning she went potty out side pee & pooped came back in every thing seemed fine I gave her pain meds & antibiotic. And then about 15 min later noticed blood from her pee pee area it looks. Maybe dark. Is this normal. I have her laying still with me right now. But I am sick to my stomach and of course there is no vet any where near me.

Lochia (blood flow from the vagina) is normal after c-section and vaginal delivery. It can be dark, and even greenish brown. It shouldn't smell foul. Foul smelling discharge can be a sign of infection. Has she been sleeping with the puppies and feeding them? Sometimes a c-section interferes with the natural bonding process and you have to help her.

Bleeding is normal and so is a lack of interest after a c-section but hopefully she will come around. Please be sure to keep an eye on her temperature as well...

Thank you every one for all your help.! My little Sophia. Means the world to me I have been being by her side 24-7 since surgery plus the new baby girl. I can't seem to get any thing else done for I am afraid to leave them in case they need me
