| Incoming Pregnant Yorkie(s) I have not been on Yorkie Talk for a few years but thought it would be a good time to stop by with my latest question. We are taking in quite a few yorkies from a backyard breeding operation and one or several may be pregnant. We won't know until they arrive within the week. We have had pregnant yorkies come into our rescue previously but most have been almost ready to deliver. These new females may not be that far along... so wondering if anyone might be able to suggest some good pre-natal care, diet, etc for them. If and when they are in advanced pregnancy then we will certainly have the ultrasounds done to make sure all is well and count heartbeats. Any suggestions or pre-natal tips? Thank you kindly. | You are assuming they are not far along in their pregnancy cycle. We won't know until they arrive. |

| That’s what I thought most rescues did. I’m sure it can be tough but better then bringing more poorly breed pups that could have no homes and serious health issues in this world.

YT 500 Club Member | I certainly don't have knowledge in this field. But, thank you so much for what your organization does for these poor helpless babies. Wish I could help.

| The video was ultra hard for me to watch, so many mistreated lil innocent babies. Thank you for all that you do to getting them healthy and into their forever homes.

| SO I guess these Yorkies are the ones you sent out an SOS for Money that you are BUYING from this breeder. It was stated that this Breeder gave you a good deal on them. You have people from ALL OVER THE US AND AT TIMES PEOPLE FROM OVERSEAS THAT DONATE MONEY TO YOUR RESCUE, BUT yet when it comes time to adopt YOU WILL ONLY ADOPT TO PEOPLE THAT LIVE IN CERTAIN AREA'S OF FLORIDA. YOU NEVER CONSIDER any other people outside of Florida for adoption EVEN IF THEY ARE WILLING TO COME TO FLORIDA AND PICK UP THE YORKIE. NO WAIT, YES YOU IF IT IS GOOD FRIEND OF YOURS YOU ADOPT TO THEM IF THEY LIVE OUT OF STATE. NOW TO ME THAT IS SO WRONG.!!!!!!

Very sad if indeed these pups were purchased from a breeder. I guess it sort of explains a post in the breeder forum. So many pups dying in shelters, be d***ed if I would be buying any.

| WOW you have yourself in a pickle now. You took in 4 critical ill puppies yesterday and one passed away over night and now you find out they have PARVO. AND YOU HAVE ALL THESE NEW YORKIES COMING IN FROM THIS BREEDER THAT YOU BOUGHT AND ONE OF THEM HAS PUPPIES AND MAYBE A FEW OTHER MAY BE PREGNANT. WOW WHAT A PICKLE. WHY IN THE HECK WHEN YOU TOOK THOSE ILL PUPPIES TO THE VET DIDN'T THEY STAY AT THE VET ???
