Is she "standing" yet? My little Suzy had her 1st litter back in April, all the pups were healthy and she had no problems. She went into heat again on Monday, Nov. 28th. It has been 2 weeks and a day... Doesn't she start "standing" after she has been on her period for 2 weeks...and it lasts for 2 weeks? I am asking because she will let Chase hump her (and she moves her tail from side to side ) but then she sometimes growls and bites at him. Does this mean she isn't ready yet or is this normal? They did get stuck the first time when they mated, do you think that she remembers that and doesn't wan't to do it again? Thank you in advance for any advice or suggestions... P.S. this maybe a silly question but how do you post your pictures of your babies so that they will appear on everything you post?

Hmm...Trixie and Cody tied 11 days (and 12 and 13 days) after Trixie began heat. Apparently they did something right, huh? Our vet and breeder-pal told us this time would lessen the chance of a runt and she would be most fertile then. JMO, but maybe she isn't ready now since she had a litter in April. Maybe she should skip a heat? Just me...

No! Of course not! A few months ago, on here, I asked opinions about how do most breeders breed their pups and received opinions/advice about how other breeders did their breeding cycles. I was told that some do it every other one and some said that they bred twice, skipped 1, and bred again. I just thought that I would rather have another litter while she is young than older. I will definately not breed her again for at least a year and a half. I love my babies
