| AKC Registration I have a question for AKC registration papers. I have to choose a color for Lexi who is 10 months old. She is still changing colors. So how do I decide what color to mark? Help! Maybe it doesn't matter? |

| I think I put down the color she is now. Like Black, brown, and gray. They are going to change from the time you register them. That's my opinion. I have 3 that are AKC Registered. What are the choices?

| The choices are Black and Tan, Black and gold, Blue and Gold, Blue and Tan. It is crazy because she is changing daily. She is a medium brownish/tanish on her legs, then the grey is moving up her sides, but the black is still there, but there is also some grey showing through the black also. I purposely put off completing these papers hoping I would know by now what color she would be. Maybe I just choose and they be surprised to see what she really will be. My vet says she could change till she is about three years old and then may also change with the seasons after that??? |

| My breeder marked my AKC registration papers. I didn't have to guess what colors they were. All 3 of mine are black and tan.
