Puppy Watch Hi my name is Terri and I am new to this site. Well in the sense I've just joined but I read stuff on here all the time. I am the mother to 2 Yorkies Pepper (male) and Basil (female). Basil is pregnant she is 60days and almost 48hrs ago she started leaking a clear liquid about 12 hrs ago she stopped eatting. Her temperature dropped but only to 99 degrees. She pee's a lot now and my husband who has had several litters from a child says she is fine I'm freaking out! The vet said there are 2pups in there. Basil looks sad but she isn't making any noises, does anyone have any advice? Now I'm not eating or sleeping, we were having the dogs for our parents now I wish we would've just purchased them dogs.........please help

I sent a PM to one of the breeders here on YT but I think they are probably all asleep. You need to call an ER & ask what to do & what & how often to feed the puppies. Have they eaten at all ? Keep putting the pups on momma & see if the will latch on, you need to suppliment but also need to keep trying to get them to latch on.

No I will not! I always thought only irresponsible ppl had to worry but I did everything right. Had a breeder on stand by for delivery. Changed her diet, ran the test, took her to the vet etc. I would never want to risk the life of my beloved dog again! I had her spayed and I will be taking Pepper to get fixed as well I will only be a yorkie buyer from now on!
