98.4 Degrees? How Close? I took a very pregnant yorkie about two weeks ago. She came from an elderly lady who is dying of lung cancer and couldn't deal with the process....so please, no irresponsible breeder stuff....please. I just took her temp and it was 98.4. What is your opinions as to how long she has to go? I would greatly appreciate any advice.

Donating YT 4000 Club Member | is this after the spike or before? usually is 24 hours after the spike and the drop, whelping is eminent. I suppose you are all ready and prepared.. i would start making the whelping pudding as soon as she starts nesting.. best of luck, for a fast and safe whelping. hugs, |

I was not able to take her temp yesterday. I have been regularly taking her temp at 5:00 every every evening for the past four days, but I missed yesterday due to the fact that I am a school teacher and had parent/teacher conferences until 8 last evening. So, I am not sure if she spiked yesterday. Day before yesterday she was at 100.9.

I have no idea when she tied. She was/is so medicated she couldn't tell me. She barely could give me directions as to how to get to her place. It is a very sad situation.

Ha, yes it did read that way! And, she is HUGE. Without pups, she is probably a 6.5 maybe 7 pounder.
