Default Which Shampoo Do You Use?

Hi!

I am new here. I have 6 months Yorkshire terrier Gigo. I use Lady Belle shampoo, balsam and jojoba oil spray. I bath him twice a week. He have dry hair.
So which shampoo do you use and which do you think is the best for dry hair.

IMO, some of the dryness could be from bathing too much/type of shampoo used combo??? I bathe Trixie about 1 time every 1-2 wks. I use either the (human) Sleek & Shine Fruit Garnier (sp?) or the 'soft hair' formula Suave for kids (it detangles too!!!) I actually never found a good finishing spray...I used some of my daughters detangling spray (Suave again, I think...green & orange bottle) and it worked so much better, I use it all of the time now!

Do you use a good conditioner also? I use MinkSheen Pet Shampoo, and a mixture of conditioners for my show dogs.

I've had great success with Chris Christensen Systems, the Day-To-Day Moisturizing shampoo, Conditioner, and Ice-On-Ice spray. Once a week is really enough, and add a drop or two of coat oil to your final conditioner and it will keep your puppy's skin soft, relieve the dryness, and help to prevent matting. (the coat oil added to the conditoner was a tip given me by Trudie of MM Yorkies, and one of the best tips I've gotten over the years!)

Thanks! Does anyone use black on black or just the day to day? Just trying to figure out which one would be best! Thanks again!

Yes of course I use good conditioner. He already had dry coat when I get him.
