| Heavenly Yorkies Hello Everyone! I have kept up with Yorkie Talk the past few years, and I have found it to be a source of information. I would just like to say that I have just read a post asking about Heavenly Yorkies Kennels in North Carolina. She had to add Kennels, because I am Heavenly Terriers and I have purchased the domain name Heavenly Yorkies also because all that had went on with Gail In New Webster Indiana, hoping to protect my name and website. I have been Showing Yorkies for the Past 5 years under the Prefix Heavenly. I have done very well in the past 5 years many champions, my dogs have won the National Roving in Tennesee, along with obedience titles,. I have a dozen American Champions, 10 that I have personally bred, and I have finished one from start to finish. This has been a lot of years of work. I was unable to protect this name through the AKC because it is such a common name, which was my mistake on picking such a common name. This year, I will finish my Last Heavenly Dog, and I will be replacing it with a less common name with the same meaning. So I would like to introduce myself as Empyrean Yorkies! This will be a protected name , so I will not have to worry about other people googling me and contacting breeders intentionally breeding half breeds and claiming to be breeding to the breed standard... I haven't always been perfect, but we are on the right road with our dogs, and I have met many new friends along the way. I truly love yorkies and the challenge to breed the best dogs. I have learned that pedigree is not everything. Please don't buy dogs sight unseen just because it is all red, and don't assume it is structurally sound, just because it is a champion! I have a wealth of information on these dogs and the care of these dogs. I will help anyone along the way that asks for it, and I am also always going to have my eyes and ears open to better this breed. |
