| First heat. My little girl is in heat for her first time. Any suggestions on the best diapers to get her? She is 3.5lbs. Also, how long do they continue to bleed? |

| From my experience, my Georgia would bleed about 10-14 days.

| Are you keeping your 2.5 male far, far away from her? Diapers WILL NOT prevent an unwanted breeding.

| oh please please please spay and neuter your dogs! i beg you to do so. you are in Missouri we have more than enough puppy mills and back yard breeders here. unless you are a professional show breeder or breeding perfect standard dogs under the watchful eye of a show breeder please DO NOT breed your dogs. both are too small and not of the standard size for creating standard puppies. it would be a costly mistake that might cost your female her life and the lives of several innocent pups. we don't need anymore poorly bred yorkies running rampant in MO and we certainly don't need anymore breeders as we are the puppy mills and bad breeding capital of the USA. Please spare us one more inexperienced breeder. you live right here next to me very very close! go seek out Katie Davis in Independence if you are at all interested in actually being a yorkie breeder. she is on the YTCA website and a very experienced breeder who would help you learn the process over many many years! dont' breed without a mentor or without years and years of research and training and experience with a mentor. thanks. |

| Princess bled for about 3 weeks the first time, idk how normal that is. And it was so minimal that she was able to keep herself clean, obsessively. I know a lot of people use diapers but it seems like it would confuse a puppy as far as potty training. |

| Are they supposed to sleep a lot too? I have a diaper on her. Of course she hates it, but I don't want blood on everything. I plan to get her spayed as soon as this is over -_- ugh! |
